I'm Amy - a thirty-something lawyer living in Dallas, Texas, who loves to write.

I am an extrovert and an eternal optimist with a love of traveling, chai tea lattes and show tunes.  

And being from Texas, I love cowboy boots, country music and all things Texas.  

  

I married my law school sweetheart, Steve, and created this blog as a place to chronicle our life together.  

We share a love of the law, ice cream, music and our Westie, Lyla.

If the sun is shining, you will find me on the lake - 

wake surfing and swimming are two of my favorite hobbies.
