merry christmas!

I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas!  Ours was filled with time with Steve's family, and excitement for what is in store for us over the next week.  More to come soon but here's a hint: our Christmas card this year served a double purpose - the back was used to share our new address with close family and friends!

Wishing you all a (belated) Merry Christmas!  May we never lose sight of what this holiday is about - the greatest gift ever given or received.

The people who walked in darkness
have seen a great light;
those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness,
on them has light shown...
For to use a child is born,
to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end,
on the throne of David and over his kingdom
to establish it and to uphold it
with justice and with righteousness
from this time forth and forevermore.
- Isaiah 9:2, 6-7 (esv)
